DENVER GALLERY Announces Fall Exhibits

National and International gallery, GALLERY M, based in Denver’s Cherry Creek North, announces the fall line-up of exhibits and collector events.

August 15th, 2009, “Woodstock – Ritual and Practice” is a historical look from LIFE photojournalists and others whose rare photographs documented the journey, stay and “decay” at the historic music festival. Opens August 15th at 11 AM and continues to October 31st, 2009

September 4 – December 31st, 2009: Robert Kaupelis – A Retrospective. The first retrospective of this significant American painter and professor looks at his journey from “Learning to Draw” to his expansive, color abstracts. Honoring his recent passing, collectors will be exposed to his small studies, works on paper, notes and original canvas installations. Opens at 6:00 PM and launches the First Friday art walk in September at GALLERY M.

November 10 – January 30th, 2010: LUBIE LOVE – The Fine Art of Film, Photography and New Media. The gallery exposes collectors and the public to the changing landscape of the arts as mixed media has generated a new format referred to as “New Media.” Digital in nature, the LUBIE LOVE installation explores the common as the rare and the distinction between mass market with that of the refined limited and unique works that qualify as “Fine Art.” Contributing works by Charles Dwyer Jr., Jay Wolf Schlossberg-Cohen, and Peck Slip Studios will be available for acquisition. Complimenting the Starz International Film Festival, special discussions with artists and filmmakers are scheduled at GALLERY M beginning November 14, 2009, at 6:00 PM.

GALLERY M invites the public to enjoy a special preview of each of these exhibits. Viewing hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Select artwork is available for acquisition. Call: (303) 331-8400 or visit gallerym.com
