Long acclaimed as the father of modern photojournalism, Alfred Eisenstaedt has chronicled the last century with more published photographs than any other photographer in history.

Achievements: Time magazine heralded Eisenstaedt's "V-J Day, Times Square, 1945" as one of the ten greatest images in the history of photojournalism. Previous exhibitions include Moma, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the International Center of Photography.
