Ellis - A Film by JR will be featured as part of GALLERY M's Inspire Art & Culture Series in November.   The screening at 7PM is part of the larger artist's efforts to recognize the importance of Immigration to America and how ELLIS ISLAND played a central roll.  

The short narrative film stars Academy Award® Winner Robert De Niro, is written by Academy Award® winner Eric Roth, and is directed by the artist JR.

GALLERY M is honored to be a part of the larger efforts nationally for dialogue on immigration reform and for all interested in collectively remembering the foundations of our country through ELLIS.

July 2015:

Cherry Creek Gallery Show Announced

GALLERY M of Denver, Colorado, announces a selling exhibition “Photojournalism: The Defining Moment.”   Included in the exhibition are works from iconic 20th Century artists Alfred Eisenstaedt, Margaret Bourke-White, Yousuf Karsh, Andre Kertesz, Dorothea Lange, Horst P. Horst, and Ralph Morse.  

Myrna Hayutin, Director, stated, “Photojournalism lets us lean forward to learn from the past with 20th Century Photojournalism as the catalyst for collectors who understand the past.”

GALLERY M announces Nov 14th for INSPIRE ART & CULTURE Series.    

While the 2014 events have focused on POP ART, STREET ART and Photography, the November 14th, 2014 event will explore Abstraction & The Automobile: on paper, canvas, in the street and on film.
